The Sacred Heart Mission provides support including the provision of meals, crisis support, health & personal care in the St Kilda area. Last year the Sacred Heart Mission served 137,099 meals in their dining hall. In addition to providing nutritious 3-course meals, the Dining Hall gives isolated people opportunities to develop friendships and a sense of connection with the local community. |

ShelterBox is a Rotary International organisation that provides disaster relief in the form of a box that contains a 10 person tent and living implements for a prolonged period of time. Recent deployments include Haiti after Hurricane Gustav, Nepal after severe flooding, Burma after Cyclone Nargis and China after the earthquake. |
Relish 2010 is full of recipes donated by local restaurants and cafes operating in St Kilda, Prahran, South Melbourne, Malvern & Elwood areas. The proceeds from the sale of this book are to be donated locally to the Sacred Heart Mission, Polio Plus, Reclink, Water Wells Project Cambodia, Prahran Mission, Inclusion Melbourne, Very Special Kids and FareShare.
